Meet Dr. Hutton & Staff
C.C. Hutton, MD
C.C. Hutton, MD, board certified in Thoracic Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Hutton attended Baylor University and North Texas State University. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He performed his surgical internship, general surgery residency and thoracic and cardiovascular surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dr. Hutton is a member of several medical societies and fraternities, including the Texas Medical Association, Texas MPAC, Texas Medical Foundation, Society of Thoracic Surgery, Montgomery County Medical Society.
Dr. Hutton has been honored with several awards throughout his medical career, including his fourth consecutive year as a “Recognized Texas Super Doctor” in cardiovascular surgery by Texas Monthly. Dr. Hutton's proudest accomplishment is his recognition by the Guidant Corporation in to the “Beating Heart Hall of Fame” for over 1,000 OFF-PUMP surgical procedures, and as a Platinum member of the “EVH Leadership Circle” for over 2,000 endoscopic vein harvesting procedures in February, 2005. He has most recently been selected by Consumer Research Council of America as one of “America's Top Surgeons” for Cardiovascular Surgery.
Dr. Hutton's biggest strength is his name. He has been a physician for more than thirty (30) years, and in that time he has been awarded several honors, written medical abstracts, been appointed to several boards and served as president of several medical associations and community organizations. He is a renowned surgeon and has been recruited by both Texas and Colorado to build successful open-heart surgery programs. Dr. Hutton has a wonderful presence and adds his personal touch when caring for his patients. He has stated that “I like taking care of my patients from the first skin incision until the last stitch is in.” He thinks that pre and post-operative visits are important in the patient's care.
Dr. Hutton served as Chief of Surgery at Conroe Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in 1992, 1997, 2010 & 2011. He also served on the Board of Directors and was President of the American Heart Association in Montgomery County. Dr. Hutton and his wife, Neva, founded and are currently serving on the Board of Directors for Parents Against Cancer in Montgomery County.
A Staff with Experience
Dr. Hutton's experienced staff also serve as strength for the practice. Gloria Hunt has been the office manager since 1992, surgical assistant, Lori Parker, LSA since 1988, and Linda Thompson, medical office specialist since 2008. Having an experienced staff and knowing the patients well gives his office an atmosphere where patients thrive.
